Who we are

Clean Financial is an independent application built on the Base44 platform. Clean Financial and Base44 are separate entities. This policy explains what each party does with your data.

• Clean Financial — the app you are using, including its budgeting, expense tracking, and journaling features. Clean Financial determines what data the app collects from you and how it is used within the app.
• Base44 — the platform that hosts, secures, and operates the underlying infrastructure Clean Financial runs on. Base44 processes data on behalf of Clean Financial as a service provider.

What Clean Financial collects

To provide the app's budgeting and reflective spending features, Clean Financial collects:

• Account information — your email address and name, used to identify your account.
• Budget and expense data — income estimates, essential and non-essential expense entries, categories, priority rankings, and reflective "why" tags you enter.
• Usage data — anonymous analytics events (such as sign-ups and expense logs) used to measure engagement and improve the product.

Clean Financial does not sell your personal data. Your expense and budget entries are associated with your account and are not shared with other users.

What Base44 handles

Because Clean Financial is built on the Base44 platform, Base44 acts as a data processor that stores and transmits the data Clean Financial collects. Specifically, Base44:

• Hosts the app and its database infrastructure.
• Manages authentication, sign-in, and account sessions.
• Processes analytics events generated by the app.
• Secures data in transit and at rest using platform-level controls.

Base44 processes this data on behalf of Clean Financial and does not use your personal data for its own purposes. Base44's privacy practices are governed by its own platform policies, which you can review at base44.com/privacy.

Data retention

Your budget and expense data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual entries at any time, or request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting Clean Financial.

Your choices

• You may edit or delete any expense or budget entry within the app at any time.
• You may request export or deletion of your account data.
• Analytics collection is used to improve the app and does not include sensitive financial account credentials.
